The Honorable Gregory A. Olson graduated from Marion Center Area High School in 1970 and from Washington and Jefferson College in 1974. He received his Juris Doctorate from the university of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1977.

          Judge Olson has served as Judge of the Indiana County Court of Common Pleas since December 1998.

           Prior to becoming Judge he was a member of the law firm of Marcus, Olson, and Mack from 1991-1998. During that time, he was a member of the Indiana County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, as well as the Western Pennsylvania and Pennsylvania Trial Lawyer's Associations. He served on the Board of Directors of both the Western Pennsylvania and Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers' Associations.

           He has served as Indiana County District Attorney from 1980-1984; Assistant District Attorney of Indiana County from 1984-1986; and as former Solicitor for Brush Valley Township and the Indiana County Prothonotary's Office.
